Cincinnati, OH, November 2019– Planet Fitness has partnered with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati (BGCGC) to bring a mini “Judgment Free Zone” to the kids at the U.S. Bank Club in Avondale.  In under one month, Planet Fitness Midwest, the franchise group who owns the Planet Fitness gyms in Cincinnati and throughout the Midwest, completely transformed an empty space at the Club into a fully functioning fitness center, replicated after their renowned gyms found nationwide.

Planet Fitness’ passion for fitness and healthy lifestyles aligns perfectly with BGCGC’s Fit For Life Program, which combines daily exercise and physical activity, nutrition instruction & the formation of healthy habits.  The generosity of Cincinnati’s local Planet Fitness owners, Mike & Danielle Hamilton & their partners, will provide many current and future Club members the opportunity to live a healthier lifestyle that they may not have had otherwise.

“We are so excited and grateful for the opportunity to partner with Planet Fitness and work together to promote healthy and active lifestyles to the kids we serve,” said Jeannie Helsel, Corporate Giving Specialist for BGCGC.

“Living in this community has allowed us to witness first-hand the incredible work being done every day by the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Cincinnati.  Seeing their impact really inspired us to want to give back and help, too,” said Mike Hamilton, Owner of local Cincinnati Planet Fitness gyms, “We think building a Judgement Free gym right in their facility is a perfect way to align our missions.  And we couldn’t be more excited about the impact it will have on the lives of so many children right here in Cincinnati”.

The Grand Opening of the U.S. Bank “Judgment Free Zone” will take place on Wednesday, November 13th at 4:00PM at the U.S. Bank Club located at 3504 Washington Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45229.
