Since 1939, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati have provided safe, welcoming spaces where young people can learn, build meaningful relationships, and grow. Through programs focused on academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character development, we help kids and teens reach their full potential and prepare for a bright future.

Looking for a safe, supportive place where your child can learn, grow, and have fun? Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati gives kids and teens opportunities to explore new interests, build friendships, and gain the confidence and skills they need to thrive at school and beyond.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I have to meet income requirements to qualify?
No. Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati welcomes all youth, and there are no income requirements to become a member. Our goal is to ensure every young person has access to a safe, supportive place to learn and grow.
Can my child attend a Club outside of their school district?
Yes. Membership is not limited by school district boundaries. Transportation availability and enrollment capacity may vary by Club. Our team can help you identify the location that works best for your family.
What if I need help with the application?
We're happy to help. Contact your preferred Club location, and a staff member can walk you through the application process and answer any questions you may have.
Is there a waitlist?
Some Clubs may have limited capacity depending on the time of year. If a Club is full, families will be notified and provided information about waitlist options or nearby Clubs that may have availability.
How long does it take for my child's membership to be approved?
Most applications are reviewed within a few business days. Processing times may vary depending on the time of year and whether all required information has been submitted. If additional information is needed, a member of our team will contact you.
What happens after my child is accepted?
Once your child's membership is approved, you'll receive information about Club hours, programming, transportation (if applicable), and any additional forms or information needed before they attend.
Does the Club provide transportation?
Transportation options vary by Club location and school partnerships. Please contact your preferred Club to learn whether transportation is available for your child's school.
What should my child bring to the Club?
Most activities and supplies are provided. Depending on the season or planned activities, your Club may communicate any special items your child should bring.
Who will contact me after I apply?
Once your application has been submitted, the Club Director or a member of our Club team will reach out if any additional information is needed and will provide next steps for getting your child involved.
Can my child attend during the summer only?
Yes. Many families participate in our summer programming even if they do not attend during the school year. Summer Clubs offer field trips, enrichment activities, meals, physical activity, and opportunities to make new friends.
Can my child join at any time during the year?
Yes! We welcome new members throughout the year as space allows. Families can apply whenever they are ready to get involved.
What if my child has special needs or requires accommodations?
We strive to create an inclusive environment where all young people can succeed. Families are encouraged to discuss their child's needs with Club staff so we can determine how best to support them.
