Transforming Futures for Greater Cincinnati's Youth
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati (BGCGC) has embarked on its most ambitious endeavor yet: a $50 million capital campaign titled “A New Generation.” This transformative initiative aims to redefine youth development across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, focusing on enhancing facilities, expanding programs and investing in the dedicated staff who make it all possible.

Building for the Future
Recognizing the evolving needs of today's youth, BGCGC is channeling $23 million of the campaign funds into renovating existing clubs in Kenton County, Price Hill, Newport, Avondale and Clermont County. These upgrades will modernize classrooms, enhance security and incorporate trauma-informed designs to create safe, welcoming environments. Additionally, BGCGC opened a new, larger and updated facility in the Villages of Roll Hill, tripling the number of youth served in that community.
Empowering Teens Through Workforce Development
A significant focus of the campaign is the creation of a 10,000-square-foot Youth Workforce Development Center in Price Hill. This facility will serve over 150 teens annually, providing them with resources and guidance to explore various career pathways, including trades, higher education and military service. The new location will equip teens in the Price Hill community with job readiness skills, financial literacy and other essential tools for success beyond high school.
Investing in Those Who Make a Difference
Understanding that dedicated staff are the backbone of effective youth programs, BGCGC is allocating $20 million to enhance staff compensation and increase personnel across its locations. By offering competitive wages and expanding the team, the organization ensures that children and teens receive consistent support from trusted mentors.
Ensuring Long-Term Sustainability
To maintain and grow these initiatives, $7 million of the campaign is dedicated to strengthening BGCGC's endowment and fostering innovation. This investment ensures that the organization can continue to adapt and meet the needs of future generations, regardless of economic fluctuations.
Community Support and Leadership
The campaign has garnered significant support, raising $44.3 million during its silent phase. Notable contributions have come from the Robert and Adele Schiff Family Foundation, Western & Southern Financial Fund, the City of Cincinnati, the Farmer Family Foundation, the Williams Family Foundation, and many other generous donors and supporters. Prominent local philanthropists and community leaders, including Larry and Rhonda Sheakley, Dudley and Christina Taft, and Dick Williams have pledged their support. These four leaders also serve as the capital campaign’s leadership team, exemplifying the community’s commitment to BGCGC's mission.

A Vision Realized
The “A New Generation” campaign is more than a fundraising effort; it's a comprehensive strategy to uplift and empower the youth of Greater Cincinnati. By enhancing facilities, expanding programs and investing in dedicated staff, BGCGC is laying the foundation for a brighter future for thousands of children and teens.
