Planet Fitness Takes a Stand Against Bullying with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati
In partnership with Planet Fitness & Local 12, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati has launched an Anti-Bullying Campaign to establish a culture of acceptance, tolerance, and respect. To kick off the campaign, on Tuesday August 8th at 10AM, kids from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati will join the Western Hills Planet Fitness staff for a day of fun, fitness, and community building.
Kids will get the opportunity to work with certified personal trainers to learn fun, safe, & effective ways to work out, while building camaraderie and self-esteem. Because it is important for the entire community to work together to send a unified message against bullying, Fox Sports Ohio and Chick-Fil-A have joined this fun filled day. Fox Sports Ohio will provide transportation and Michael Calloway, owner of the Western Hills Chick-Fil-A, will provide meals for the participating kids.
Beyond this event, Planet Fitness is sponsoring a series of commercials targeting Anti-Bullying that will air on Local 12. Boys & Girls Club kids will star in these commercials and use their voice to put a stop to bullying. These commercials will air on Local 12 beginning in August and run through January 2018.
