Graduate, Fit For Life, Ready To Serve
At the Clubs, we follow a proven model for success. Research shows that kids and teens who have an optimal Club experience are more likely to have positive self-esteem, be engaged in school and learning, and volunteer in their communities. Our youth development professionals provide young people with safe spaces, deeply impactful programs, and key resources to help them achieve academic success, make healthy life choices, and reach their full potential.
Every day, our kids do the things in this “home away from home” that will ultimately make a difference in their lives. They do their homework, take care of their body & physical well-being, and help build stronger communities. We help them learn, grow and move forward with determination toward high school graduation and a plan for the future.
Graduate
Academic Success
At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati, we give our members not only a safe haven, but also a place to learn, grow and succeed. We have done the research, and the results are clear: Education is intrinsically linked to lifelong success and the economic stability of the community. In our GRADUATE program, we offer educational enrichment activities and additional support in order to nurture each member’s individual success inside and outside of the classroom.
Fit for Life
Healthy Lifestyle
Currently, childhood obesity is at an all-time high, poor oral health is a leading cause of absenteeism in primary schools around the nation, and little importance is placed on healthy living. In times like these, the Boys & Girls Clubs help combat the crises at hand with intentional, proven methods of helping the kids in our community get healthy.
Ready to Serve
Character & Leadership
At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati, we believe that helping hands are the currency of the world. Without community service and outreach, we would not be nearly as civilized or advanced as we are today. In fact, Cincinnati has historically been one of the most charitable and service-oriented cities in America. To uphold that tradition, we must plant the seed of stewardship first and foremost in our children. For that reason, we have created READY TO SERVE, a program dedicated to this initiative.
